Our Story
Blooms opened in March of 2006, and after 9 years in Madison, we moved to Verona! We design floral arrangements for many people, occasions, and events in the Greater Madison Area. Wherever our clients may take us & no matter how much we grow, Blooms’ first love is weddings!
Our breathtaking blooms have been featured in Wisconsin Bride, Brava, The Wedding Planner & Guide, Love Madison Weddings 2016 Calendar, awarded WeddingWire 2017 couples’ choice award, & voted The Knot Best of Weddings multiple years, including 2020!
Our Team
Brandi Mueller – Owner, Magic Maker
Brandi has been designing since 1997, when a chance interview turned her into a floral design apprentice. When not working on bridal bouquets, Brandi loves to travel & snuggle with her pets.

- My favorite flower always changes.
- I live in the house I grew up in.
- I met my husband on e-Harmony.
- I got married after knowing my husband for 7 months!!!
- I need pets in my life.
- I have two kids Violet & Ethan.
- My siblings are all adopted from South Korea.
- My flower shop is less than a block from where I started my flower career.
- I have been a vegetarian since the age of 6.
- I lived on Hilton Head Island in SC for 1 year just so I could say I didn’t live in Wisconsin my whole life.
Matt Mueller- Accountant & Garland Master
Matt never dreamed of becoming a florist, but his wife had different ideas. Matt does it all: boutonnieres, deliveries, & garlands. He’d probably rather be drinking a beer on the beach somewhere, but who wouldn’t?
Ten fun facts about Matt:
- I graduated from Elk Mound High School.
- My favorite concert each year is Sonic Boom.
- I love craft beer.
- I like to deliver flowers in my ’56 Chevy Bel Air, but my wife hates that it doesn’t have seat belts.
- Go Pack Go!
- Buying DVD’s of action movies is my weakness.
- My wife is writing most of this for me.
- I have 2 younger brothers who are much taller than me, but I have all my hair still!
- I ride dirt bikes.
- My favorite vacation spot is Akumal, Mexico.
Alison Pitt – MVP, Carnation Defender
Alison is from Menomonie, WI and moved to Madison in 2018 to attend school at Madison College. While her degree is in Human Services, and most of her background is in youth work, she started at Blooms in 2021 and has loved working with flowers and getting to be creative.

- I went to Madison College & graduated with an associates degree in Human Services.
- I am a Sagittarius.
- I was a cheese monger for 2 years while going to school.
- I am the only one in my family who is not allergic to cats.
- I enjoy cooking, but I like eating more.
- I am definitely a morning person.
- Everything I know about plants & flowers I learned while gardening with my mom growing up.
- I consider myself a maximalist. I love decorating my apartment with little trinkets & pretty things.
- I won’t stand for carnation slander! I believe there’s so many gorgeous varieties, that people don’t know about.
- One of my favorite flowers are lilacs. I had a lilac bush right outside of my bedroom window where I grew up & it always smelled amazing in the spring!
Leila Ward – Crow conjurer
Leila enjoys spending time with her dad and crocheting in her spare time. She briefly attended college a few years ago but found that it wasn’t the right major for her-she’ll be returning to school when she figures that out. She started working at blooms in October 2025 and has been enjoying learning new skills and gathering knowledge about flowers.

- I love crows and feed them every morning!
- I enjoy baking sourdough with my dad-my starter is named Jane Dough.
- My favorite flowers are snapdragons, but I love the way Oriental lilies smell.
- I volunteer at the Humane Society in my free time
- I thoroughly enjoy video games, Red Dead Redemption II is one of my favorites
- Fun facts give me the will to live
- I have an extreme caffeine addiction
- I hurt my knee jazzercising a couple years ago-it hasn’t been the same since
- Reading and writing are some of my favorite pastimes

Leo Corsi – Creature.
Leo is just a guy trying to live life joyfully. He tried going to college in 2023 but quickly realized it wasn’t for him. Ever since, he’s been on a journey to figure out what he wants out of life. He started working at blooms in August 2025 after a few years of retail torture, and he hopes to be a professional jeweler eventually, but for now he is content throwing flowers around.

- I love daisies
- I wear overalls a lot
- I enjoy many mediums of art but am mediocre at all of them
- Some day I hope to live in the woods with a few select friends where no one will find me
- My water bottle is the weight of an infant child and if it is not with me something is wrong

- I always have a favorite co-worker but it’s a secret
- I am obsessed with ATEEZ
- Last year I listened to spotify for over 200k minutes

Anna
Anna is currently in high school. She takes a lot of AP classes and is involved in many clubs and activities.

- I’ve made multiple doll houses out of clay
- I like to bake
- My favorite flowers are tulips, dahlias and snapdragons in that order
- I’m a gemini
- My favorite movie is barbie princess charm school
- I’ve dyed my hair more than 30 times, if there’s a flower color my hair has been it at one point
- My house blew away once 🙁

Mimi – Temperamental Cat
Ten Fun facts About Mimi:
- I am technically feral but love attention
- I always have a lot to say
- If you pet me wrong I will throw a fit
- I really like to drink water
- I have three barn cat siblings but they aren’t as friendly as I am
- I love to stand behind cars when they are trying to back out of parking spots
- I came from the Jefferson County Humane society
- I own the place and everything is about me
