What kind of rental items do you carry?
We have a variety of large and small glassware, luxury containers for your altar spaces and head tables, as well as polished stones, LED lights/candles, and beautiful compote containers to add beauty to all your arrangements.
It is important for me to stay within budget. What are my options?
We are happy to work with a set budget and will give you a realistic idea of what you can expect. Sometimes focusing on just a few key elements can make a bigger impact than spreading yourself too thin, while other couples prefer to add a hint of beauty across their wedding space.
I’m trying to achieve a very specific color palette. What are my options?
Paint and hardware stores carry hundreds of free sample chips to pair for an easy and accurate example. Your bridal salon may also provide fabric and color samples for a small fee, just be sure to have enough to hand out to your various vendors. These options are much easier than trying to describe the particular blush hue that has caught your eye!
I am just starting the planning process. How far in advance should I book my wedding flowers?
Every week can be a little different but prime wedding weekends are usually late May through October. As long as we have availability we have worked with couples with as little as two weeks’ notice but it can be helpful to start checking a year to 6 Months in advance in advance. If you love our work we can book your date with a deposit and work on details when your schedule allows.
I have my heart set on a certain bouquet; how can I find out if the flowers are available for my wedding?
There are a wide variety of flowers that have year-round availability. Some flowers, like peonies, are more limited in availability but growers are continuously working on extending the seasons. Send us a picture of your inspiration bouquet and we can let you know what is available. There are certain flowers that may not be available on your wedding date but we can suggest flowers that will give you a similar texture or color!
What is your delivery area?
Each wedding is unique, but on average we travel about 60 miles from the Madison area. We are happy to deliver to Wisconsin Dells, Janesville and Milwaukee, as well as the many amazing wedding venues in the state. Pick-up is always available and is free. Delivery for 2 timed locations with set-up begins at $100 for the Madison area.
Can you help me do my own flowers?
Blooms offers bulk flowers for the do-it-yourself bride. Assistance is also available. Our designers charge between $40 & $80 per hour (not including flowers) to help with design or answer questions. When placing a bulk order we offer a 20 minute consult free of charge if needed.
What is your average price for a wedding?
This question is asked frequently and the answer is prices can widely vary from wedding to wedding. We do, however, have a list of basic price ranges for commonly purchased items because it helps most brides get a starting idea of budget. Of course we have items that are higher or lower than prices listed, but this can be a great starting point of what current Madison, WI brides are purchasing at Blooms.
